Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the public campaigns for the presidential and National Assembly elections commences today and the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has stated his readiness for this exercise.
He stated this on his Twitter page with pictures of him and his vice, the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa.
In his words: “The campaign to take back and rebuild Nigeria starts today. As ONE, we can get it done. -AA #AtikuOkowa”
With the commencement of the campaigns, the contenders have 147 days to move round the country to promote their candidatures.
The electoral body has fixed the Presidential and National Assembly elections for February 25, 2023.
The candidates, their supporters and political parties have lined up various activities for the commencement of the public campaign.
