2023: PDP set to flag off presidential campaign, Monday

The Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC), Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has said the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s campaign will kick off on Monday, 10 October 2022 in Akwa Ibom State.

Tambuwal who stated this, Tuesday while briefing journalists at Atiku’s campaign office in Wuse, Abuja described the PDP Presidential candidate as the most prepared.

The Sokoto State Governor said “only Atiku can provide the required leadership that this country needs at this time. He has experience in governance at the federal level, which I believe none of the rest of the candidates can match.

“And this is not the time for Nigeria to go into trial and error. It’s time for Nigeria to give it to the person that has been tested and who has the experience, who can do a good job”.

Tambuwal said the fact that PDP and Atiku inaugurated their campaign team on the date the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) indicated that the former Vice President will hit the ground running when elected President.

The Director General of PDP NCMC said ” we will flag off campaign in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on October, 10th 2022.

“We will travel throughout to the nooks and crannies of this country particularly moved around the states to solicit for votes, he stated.

He assured that their campaign will be issues based, adding that “our principal, Atiku is a peace ambassador and we will be peaceful in our conduct”.
