The Rotimi Amaechi Support Group has increased its efforts in the run-up to the 2023 general election to guarantee that the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, emerges as the All Progressives Congress candidate.
The South-South Coordinator, Chief Victor Odebala, said the minister “stands tall among other presidential hopefuls” during the launch of the Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi Campaign Organisation on Monday in Asaba.
He said, “I am delighted to be appointed as South-South coordinator of CRANN, I have looked among all the presidential aspirants, Amaechi stands tall.

“Based on his political antecedents right from when he was a Students Union Leader, Speaker, and Governor, his performance shows that he is a man that can fix the economy and security of the nation they if elected President”
Dr. Evens Ogbueji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of CRANN, on his part, urged the people, particularly the APC in the South-South, to unite and canvass votes in support of Amaechi’s election as the APC candidate.
While describing Amaechi as detribalized and servant leader, the BOT Chairman said he is the best for the 2023 presidential seat having gathered experience over the years.
He said, “We thank God that Rotimi Amaechi heard our appeal and join the presidential race. We are confident that he will lead Nigeria well following his antecedents in governance. Therefore, I urge every one of you to support his aspiration to become the president of Nigeria come 2023.”
