Chelsea have again been offered the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.
Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes made contact with Chelsea over a transfer for the former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar.
Chelsea are in need of a frontman and Ronaldo is desperate to play for a club in the Champions League this season.
Mendes had held talks with Blues co-owner Todd Boehly earlier in late July but Blues manager, Thomas Tuchel was said to have been reluctant to give a green light.
Chelsea were about to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona but the deal fell through with the Catalan side demanding around £30m for the 33-year-old they signed for free just six months ago.
