Ibefun community benefit from Adetoye royal descendants’ medical outreach

The joy of Ibefun residents knows no bounds as the people of the community thronged the ancestral home of Adetoye Family in their hundreds to benefit from the family yearly medical outreach.

The media outreach by the Adetoye Royal Descendants, which took place on February 18 at No 29 Oketun Street, Ibefun, Ogun State, was part of the activities lined up by the  family to mark the year 2023 Day.

The outreach diagnosed and treated patients with high blood pressure, sugar level screening, diabetes and also issued free medical eye glasses to patients suffering from sight impairment.

Speaking while flagging off the event, the head of the family, Liken of Ibefun Ijebu, His Royal Highness, Oba Gideon A. Adetoye stated that this year event was aimed at fostering healthy relationship between the Adetoye Royal family and the people of Ibefun community. He also reiterated that the family decided to do medical rhapsody because of the need for people to know their health status.

While appreciating the gesture, one of the beneficiaries, Mrs Taiwo Adekoya also known as Iya Ibeji thanked the organizer for bringing succour to their health challenges and prayed that God Almighty continue to bless Adetoye Royal Descendants.

Another beneficiary, Mr Femi Akadi appreciated the family for their medical intervention in the community. Describing it as the first of its kind in the area, he urged other Royal families in the community to emulate Adetoye’s good deeds in the community by bringing a similar gesture to Ibefun town.
