The 2021 Literature-in-English paper of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) taken by private candidates has been cancelled.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) took to its Twitter handle to reveal this.
ICYMI: Pls be informed that the WASSCE (PC1) 2021 Literature-in-English (2 & 1, 3) papers taken by candidates in Nigeria have been cancelled & rescheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2021. This info is for candidates that sat the exam. @IamKingDemian @MySchoolGist pic.twitter.com/OPVx5fVQ0F

They gave no reason for the cancellation of the examination which was earlier taken on Friday, February 26.
The examination body has however rescheduled the examination for March 11.
WAEC had earlier slated the first series of exams on February 15 through March 2.
