COVID-19: Nigeria records 214 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 214 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 13 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The development brings the total number of infections across the country to 162,076.

The agency made the announcement on Tuesday night while giving an update on its official website.

NCDC also announced 328 community recoveries in Bauchi, Lagos and FCT, bringing the total number of discharged cases to 148,530.

It also confirmed the death of one patient as total fatality hit 2,031.
