“The matter has been handed over to the appropriate authorities, who are conducting an investigation. We are fully cooperating with them in this process,” the statement read in part.
According to a report by the Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ), the former agent, identified as Stephen Ejezie, allegedly recorded over 400 videos of female colleagues in private settings, including restrooms and changing areas, without their knowledge or consent.
The report further claims that Ejezie hid cameras in sensitive locations and, despite the volume of incriminating material reportedly discovered, has not yet been charged or taken into custody as of the time of publication.
