The All Progressives Congress, APC has suspeneded the lawmaker representing Kano Municipal at the National Assembly, Rep. Sha’aibu Sharada over allegation that he castigated Kano governor, Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje and other party stalwarts.

Hon. Sharada, who is the Chairman, house committee on security and intelligence, recently, raised the alarm over how the state government was handling the affairs of the party. Sharada, who lamented the attempt by the party under the instruction of the governor to deny him membership registration, claimed that APC under the present leadership in Kano was only playing the ostrich in their support for President Muhammadu Buhari.
However, his suspension letter was jointly signed by the APC Municipal council Chairman, Alhaji Sani Maifata and Secretary, Malam Kamilu Saidu in Kano on Thursday.
“Sequel to the petition received from APC supporters from Sharada ward, we formed a seven-man disciplinary committee and gave them seven days to submit their report on the matter and suggest possible decision.
“After going through their report and evidence attached to the suspension letter, the committee confirmed that Sharada was guilty of all the charges against him.
“We hereby, affirm the suspension as done by his ward level for 12 months for his open attacks and castigation of Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje and other party stalwarts.”
