DSS declares Sunday Igboho wanted, confirms killing two, parades 12

The Department of State Services, on Thursday night confirmed that the joint security operatives killed two allies of Sunday Adeyemo popularly called Sunday Igboho.

The secret police declared the activist wanted while parading no fewer than 12 suspects arrested during the joint operation.

Spokesman of the service, Peter Afunanya at the ongoing briefing said Sunday Igboho is presently on the run, saying the government will definitely track him down.

TheLeadng reports that the security operatives invaded the Soka, Ibadan residence of the activist in the early hours of Thursday. At least two persons were reportedly killed while others, including Igboho’s wife were abducted.

However, Igboho’s wife and six others were released in Ekiti, few hours after the activist announced the suspension of the Yoruba rally billed for Lagos on Saturday.
