The semifinal is scheduled for January 14 at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium and pitches a Nigerian side seeking another continental title against a Moroccan team buoyed by home support. With narrow margins likely to define the outcome, CAF’s selection of officials reflects its intention to ensure that the contest is decided on the pitch rather than by officiating controversy.
