Ambassador Hussaini Coomassie, a UN SDG Ambassador, who also doubles as Universal Peace Federation Ambassador, Humanitarian & Global Peace has call for the removal or sack of the GOC 1 and the commandant of Nigerian Defense Academy, NDA, after being attacked by bandits.
Commassie in a statement noted that he got the news of the attack when he was attending an inaugural ceremony in Lusaka, Zambia expressing shock and disbelief that the military base of a nation can be attacked by criminals.
He said if the military is not safe where else can be said to be safe in Nigeria saying if the military formations and institutions are not safe, who then is safe?
According to him: ” Remove or calling for the sack of GOC 1, Commandant NDA and other military personnel charged with the responsibilities of safe guarding the institution.
” I received the heartbroken news in Lusaka during the inaugural ceremony in Lusaka with shock and total disappointment.
” The Army is the no. 1 force and if they cant protect themselves what will be the fate of the common man?”, he stated.
