Sen. Dave Umahi, the Minister of Works, has announced that the main construction work on the Third Mainland Bridge rehabilitation project, has been completed.

Umahi revealed this information during a tour of key infrastructure projects in Lagos State, as part of a joint oversight function by members of the National Assembly.

He further stated that the official opening ceremony would coincide with the launch of the coastal road project, anticipated to take place during a visit by the President.

Acknowledging the dedication of the Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Mrs. Korede Keisha, and her team, Umahi commended their efforts in successfully completing the repairs on the Third Mainland Bridge.

He underscored the critical role the bridge plays in the region’s transportation network and praised the Minister for his aptitude in overseeing the project.
