Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun has announced that his administration will establish a content creation studio aimed at promoting creativity and innovation within the state.
Speaking at the maiden edition of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Creative Conference on Tuesday, held at the SDGs Centre in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area, Adeleke highlighted the importance of creativity and innovation in building a sustainable future. He also emphasised that Osun is poised to lead in this area.
The governor explained that the content creation studio, which would be a collaborative effort with the private sector, would serve as a hub for creators. It will provide the necessary tools, resources, and space for individuals to bring their ideas to life.

“It will empower filmmakers, digital storytellers, fashion designers, musicians, and all other creatives to tell their stories, amplify their voices, and create solutions for societal challenges,” Adeleke said.
He added that the studio represents more than just a space for creation, calling it a significant step toward achieving the SDGs.

“This initiative reflects the vision of the state where culture meets innovation, tradition meets progress, and creativity becomes the engine of sustainable development,” he explained.
Adeleke encouraged everyone to collaborate and build a thriving creative ecosystem that will drive sustainable development and prosperity for all, stating, “Osun is ready. Together, we will achieve the SDGs by 2030.”

In his remarks, Bamikole Omisore, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals and Multilateral Relations, spoke of the state’s rich cultural heritage and the potential to harness its creative resources. He highlighted the collaboration between the state, federal government, and developmental partners to support youth development.
Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, urged the youth to harness the vast potentials of the creative economy in achieving the SDGs. Represented by Dr Bala Yunusa, Senior Technical Advisor at the Presidency, Orelope-Adefulire commended the state government for its commitment to the overall implementation of the SDGs.
