Actress Funke Akindele’s new film, Everybody Loves Jennifer, has been named the highest-grossing film of all time in West Africa.
The film, which was released exactly one month ago, has grossed N1.6 billion at the box office.
FilmOne, the movie’s distributor, shared the news on its Instagram page @filmoneng on Monday.

The company posted: “A billy gang, we’re up! Everybody Loves Jennifer has grossed over 1.6 billion Naira at the box office!
“We can’t thank you enough for showing this movie all your love!”
Akindele also took to her own Instagram page @funkejenifaakindele to celebrate the achievement and thank her fans.
She wrote: “Na God do am. I am so grateful to you all.
“I don’t even know what to write again.”
Everybody Loves Jennifer was released in cinemas on 13th December 2024.
The film is about a successful businesswoman and social media influencer known for her extravagant fashion and goodhearted yet overbearing nature. Based in Lagos and Accra, Jenifa’s life takes a dramatic turn when a wealthy newcomer, Lobster, moves into her estate and quickly overshadows her community influence with his charitable deeds.
