How Kizz Daniel ‘Buga’s’ Video paving waves in 48 hours

Oluwatobiloba Daniel, nicknamed Kizz Daniel, has continued to set new records with his latest track, ‘Buga,’ on which he collaborated with Tekno.

The music video was uploaded on YouTube in the evening of Wednesday, June 22, 2022, and by of 2pm on Friday, June 24, it had had over 3.8 million views. Kizz Daniel, Tekno, and Oga Sabinus appear in the video, which has a carnival atmosphere.

Remember that the song was an instant sensation on social media, with many individuals posting videos of themselves dancing to it. Notable figures who have publicly danced to the song include Liberian President George Weah and Rotimi Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation. The song was also played multiple times during the All Progressives Congress’s recent presidential primary. On May 19, 2022, Shazam, a music app, announced on its Twitter page that ‘Buga’ was the most Shazamed song in the world. It was also the first song on Boomplay Music to reach one million streams in 24 hours.

Daniel also launched a “dancing challenge” for the song, in which individuals from all around the world took part. The singer then proceeded give some of the participants a N1m naira cash prize.
