The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Monday targeted the wedding party of a bandit leader in Katsina, PRNigeria reports.

Those killed include Sule, a notorious bandit and a sibling of Lalbi Ginshima, another wanted outlaw.

The Air Task Force (ATF) conducted the operation at Unguwar Adam vllage in Dan Musa Local Government Area.

This was after intelligence revealed that the terrorists migrated from Dan Alikima to Unguwar Adam for the ceremony.

An Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) platform was sent to monitor activities at the location.

A fighter platform was then dispatched after the ISR drone sighted scores of bandits in a merry mood.

The terrorists suffered heavy casualties and various degrees of injuries.

“The aircraft observed over fifty bandit-terrorists and engaged them with rockets and cannons in successive passes.

“As many as 27 were decimated. Among those killed include bandit leader Sule, who is brother to major bandit Lalbi Ginshima”, a military source said.
