‘I don’t want to die now,’ Portable begs fans for prayer

Street pop singer and controversial artiste,  Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, known professionally as Portable, has fallen ill and reached out to his fans for support.

In a social media post on his Instagram story, he shared a photo of himself lying on a couch receiving medical treatment via an IV drip.

Although he didn’t disclose the ailment, the singer said he was feeling pains all over his body.

“Pain all over my body somebody pray for me I don’t want to die young,” he said.

In another post, he reassured his fans not to worry, affirming that he is still alive and breathing. Despite his controversial image, he humbly requested prayers from his supporters to help him overcome his illness.

“We don’t regret we go hard you can’t be comfortable being you in the midst of people that don’t want you. Be you let the stress go and let the blessings flow. Zazuu am coming stronger.
“No panic I still dey feel pain am alive bobo no go die young,” he added.

The singer expressed no regrets about his lifestyle choices. He asserted that he has always stayed true to himself, even amidst criticism from those who disapprove of him. He vowed to emerge from his illness stronger than ever, promising his fans a comeback once he has recovered.

Portable was recently arrested and detained by the Nigeria Police Force concerning a N14 million debt stemming from his acquisition of a N27 million Mercedes Benz from Temitope Ogunsanwo, the proprietor of Temmy Autos.
