The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 542 fresh cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
With the new figures, the total number of recorded cases in the country has jumped to 152,616.
The public health agency made the confirmation on Monday night via its official website while giving a report on its daily recorded cases.
The report indicated that the country recorded 21 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,862.
