Presidential candidate for Labour Party LP, Peter Obi has silenced the governor of Anambra State Prof Charles Soludo, Prof Obiora Okonkwo , Andy Uba others, who campaigned against him in Anambra state.
Obi won in all the local government areas in the state, roundly defeating the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as well as the All Progressive Congress APC. None of the party was able to score up to 10000 in the whole of the state.

Declaring the results of the presidential ,the collation officer in the state Prof. Nnenna Oti said that Obi scored 584,621 votes to win the state.
The closest rival is the presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who scored 9,036 votes.
The All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA ,whose presidential candidate, Prof Peter Umeadi, got 7388 votes while Young Progressive Party YPP got 1997.
Labour Party won overwhelming in Aguata Local Government Area,the home town of governor Charles soludo. In the build-up to the election, Soludo penned a letter to discredit Obi’s ambition.
The Labour Party scored 37,478 in Aguata LGA, while APGA got 712 out of total votes of 40,387
