She later released other well received songs, including “O Ti Sure,” further strengthening her reputation as a minister whose music blended worship, testimony and deep spiritual reflection.
Health Concerns Before Her Death
While the cause of her death was not disclosed, the gospel singer had publicly sought prayers months earlier over a leg-related health challenge.
In October 2025, a video circulated online showing her seated during a church service at G.F. David Ministries in Ibadan, with one leg stretched out as prayers were offered for her healing. During the service, the cleric prayed over what was described as persistent bleeding in the leg, referring to the condition as a spiritual attack.
There has, however, been no official confirmation linking the ailment to her death.
From Banking Hall to Altar
Before fully embracing gospel music, Akinnaanu worked in the banking sector. She later left her corporate career to pursue ministry and music full time, a decision many admirers often described as bold and faith driven.
