igerian troops have continued to record significant successes against Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists operating in the North-eastern part of the country.
It was gathered that in one of the latest onslaughts against the terrorists, several armoured fighting vehicles that appeared to have been hidden under trees were recovered by the Nigerian troops.
Also recovered were bombs and guns even as many of the terrorists succumbed to the superior fire power of the Nigerian troops.
This was confirmed in a terse post on the Nigerian Army Facebook post on Tuesday.
It reads: “In continuation of NA clearance operations & dominating the battlefield, troops of 402 SF Brigade yesterday 21 Feb 2022 neutralized several ISWAP/BHT terrorists at Timbuktu Triangle in Borno State. Troops recovered large cache of Weapons, Bombs, 1 Mowag APC, 1 TCV amongst others.
