Sergio Aguero, a Manchester City icon, has advised the club’s new acquisition, Erling Haaland, that playing in the Premier League is not simple.
Aguero also wished Haaland the best of luck at Manchester City, wishing the Norwegian international a successful season.
This was mentioned by the former Argentina international during the unveiling of his monument in front of the Etihad Stadium on Friday.
Man City started a few days ago that they had reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to buy Haaland.
Pep Guardiola’s side will pay Haaland’s £51.1million release clause and he will arrive at the Etihad on July 1, subject to terms being finalised.
“He’s a good striker. I hope he adapts well to the team because it is not easy to play here in the Premier League.
“I wish him all the best because I am a fan now of Manchester City and I hope now he scores many goals,” Aguero was quoted by Sportskeeda as saying.
