Many Nigerians on social media are pained by the new fuel price projected by the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).
PPPRA projected that the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), better known as petrol will sell at N212.11 per litre.
The agency who announced this in its pricing template for the month of March based the price on the average costs of imported petroleum products.
Although the projection of PPPRA does not necessarily translate that the pump price increase for Nigerians will take effect, the projection has set Twitter on fire as many express pain.

Waking up to #FuelPriceHike @ N212 is a very bad news. I urge the Buhari led administration to reverse this. We are suffering enough already !

Food prices before now have been out of reach for many Nigerians then you add #FuelPriceHike on top of it which will further drive up prices of things across board.
Yet, the average Nigerian’s earning has not increased.
How exactly do we want to bring people out of poverty?

As a Nigerian in Nigeria, there is no light at the end of the tunnel for you.
It gets darker each day with each step.#FuelPriceHike

The APC government decided to increase fuel price again to N212 per litre not minding how the citizens have been suffering and you’re telling me Buhari is not an Oloriburuku?
Nigerians if we could stand up against Jonathan then, we have to stand up now again. #FuelPriceHike

Let it be known today that PDP is not the opposition party. We the MASSES are the opposition. We oppose the Fuel price Hike and other Anti-Human philosophies under this administration. Buhari is incompetent, let’s match this March against this #FuelPriceHike 💪🏾
