Kebbi State House of Assembly members have impeached the Speaker, Samaila Abdulmunin Kamba and his deputy, Muh’d Buhari Aleiro.
Recall at plenary on Tuesday, 20 members out of the house 24 lawmakers voted in support of the impeachment motion that led to their ouster.
The members immediately elected Mohammed Abubakar Lolo and Muhammad Usman Ankwai as new Speaker, Deputy respectively.
Although the reasons for their impeachment was not elucidated but rather accused of contravening the house rules.
