Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu and four Northern Governors are currently meeting in Abeokuta, the state capital, over the farmers and herders clashes in the state.
The meeting features major stakeholders including leadership of Fulani, farmers and traditional rulers in the state.
The peace parley is taking place at Obas’ Complex, State Secretariat, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
Northern governors at the parley are Bello Matawale (Zamfara), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano) and Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sanni Bello.

Clashes between Fulani herdsmen and farmers in the troubled areas of Yewaland have claimed about ten lives in the last one week.
Some of the areas attacked by the Fulani herdsmen are; Eggua, Ketu, Igbooro, Iselu, Agbon-Ojodu, Asa, Ibeku, Imeko and Oja-Odan.
