FG to fire Tinubu’s campaign coordinator over misconduct

The Director General of the Bola Tinubu, Social Mobilization Group, Abdulmumin Jibrin has been summoned by the the Governing Board of Federal Housing Authority (FHA), over allegations of serious misconducts while discharging his duties.

Recall that Jibrin, the Executive Director Research, Innovation & Development of FHA, was recently appointed as the head of Tinubu’s mobilization group and has been at the forefront in of the campaign for Tinubu to occupy the number one seat of power in the country in 2023.

The invitation signed by Barr. Zubairu Sinu, Investigative/Disciplinary Panel Chairman, called for the former lawmaker to appear before its investigation and disciplinary panel.

According to the letter, “Please recall the query issued to you by the Managing Director/CE over allegations of serious misconducts in the course of your official duties, and your deliberate refusal to respond to the query as required by the Rules of Public Service as applicable to public officers In furtherance of the above, the Governing Board at its 3rd Regular meeting held on Tuesday 2nd February, 2022 had set up an Investigative/Disciplinary Panel to investigate all the alleged serious misconducts leveled against you.”

The panel urged him to appear before it tomorrow Friday, 18th February,: by 3.00 pm as the question of the disciplinary action against him “include termination or dismissal (if necessary) will be brought forward and you are required to appear before the panel personally to defend yourself, your are also entitled to call Witnesses, if need be.”

It added that his failure not to hour the invitation “will not invalidate the proceedings of the panel. This invitation is issued in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 8.2.0 of the Federal Housing Authority Revised Condition of Service, 2008 and Section 030307 of the Public Service Rules (2009).”
