Actress and Ex Big Brother Naija Star, Nengi Rebecca Hampson is amazed the way people perceive her in a certain way.
Nene, as she’s fondly called, wondered why ‘everyone’ always assumed she’s ‘bougie’ (a slang which means creating an air of wealth or upper class status – whether it’s true or not).
The former BBNaija “Lock Down” housemate as a matter of fact couldn’t help but laugh off the perception, which she claimed was funny.
Still reeling in people’s perception of her, Nengi boldly declared that she was a complete ‘ghetto babe’ (that is, one from an impoverished, neglected, or otherwise disadvantaged residential area of a city, usually troubled by a disproportionately large amount of crime).
She tweeted: “It’s soo funny how everyone thinks I’m bougie .. I’m a whole ghetto babe.”
