Makinde approve appointments of new Permanent Secretaries

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has authorized the appointment of a new set of permanent secretaries, Inspectors-General of Education, Tutors-General, and Surveyors-General.

Makinde made the announcement on Sunday.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, the Governor stated that the newly appointed personnel comprised seven Permanent Secretaries.

Adisa stated in a statement made available to reporters on Sunday evening in Ibadan that the Governor has approved the appointment of ten Inspectors-General of Education, ten Tutors-General, and the State Surveyor-General.

He stated that the newly elected officers will be sworn in shortly.

According to the Governor, the clearance came after a lengthy procedure that included written and oral examinations.

The new Permanent Secretaries according to the statement included; Fatai Olalekan Falola, Evelyn Eseosa Akintunde, Lukman Akinola Muraina, Oluyemisi Olajumoke Adebusuyi, Modupe Elizabeth Adeleye, Tajudeen Olabode Raji and Sunday Adeyemi Ojelabi.

The Governor added that Abiodun Sekore Alaba has been appointed as Surveyor-General of the State.

Adebayo Olusegun Salaam, Bamidele Toyin Oyinloye, Lawrence Adelani Binuyo, Paul Oyedele Oyedokun, Lukuman Alowonle Kareem, Olarinre Alabi Adetayo Oloyede, Oyeyemi Iyabode Ojo, Olusanjo Joel Adeniyi, Faosat Ayobami Oluokun, and Olajide Mamud Okesade were appointed as Inspectors-General for Education.

Those who were appointed as Tutors-General according to the Governor include Toyin Funmilola Akinyemi, Akinlolu Abiodun Akinwale, Julius Funso Folaranmi, Olatunde Lanre Suulola, Babatunde Olayinka Onifade, Haroon Animashaun Lawal, Kafari Olasunmade Babajide, Serifat Bukola Abimbola, Tunde Sakiru Adeniran and Olubukola Ajoke Oladipo.
