Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministry, has reacted to the fresh attack against him by Stephanie Otobo, the Canada-based Nigerian singer.

In April 2017, Otobo accused Suleman of having a sexual relationship with her. She also alleged that he got her pregnant and then gave her a concoction to drink to terminate the pregnancy.

The cleric, however, denied her allegations and took legal action against her. Otobo was later arrested and dragged to court.

She subsequently retracted the allegations against Suleman, adding that she was “heavily paid” by powerful politicians and some pastors to blackmail him.

But on Monday, Otobo resumed her attack against the cleric on Twitter. She also insisted she had an affair with the clergyman.

Her tweets had opened the floodgates of varying reactions and placed Suleman among the top trends in Nigeria on the micro-blogging platform.

In his reaction, however, the clergyman claimed the discussions about him were due to his earlier post calling for an end to the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

In the post, he also took a swipe at his critics for always using “the same strategy all the time.”

“I tweeted ‘end ASUU strike’ yesterday Sunday and today Monday I am trending on twitter.. una well done! Same strategy all the time.. You guys should had done this at least a week later to avoid traces.. End ASUU strike!” he wrote.
