Toyin Lawani, a well-known Nigerian fashion designer and stylist, has slammed the producers of Africa’s greatest reality program, Big Brother Naija, over the surprise eviction of Hermes Iyele.
Toyin Lawani, who expressed her dissatisfaction with the event on social media, accused the organizers of manipulating the ballots.
The elimination of Hermes surprised many, who thought he was one of the greatest candidates in the Level Up season of BBNaija.
While proclaiming her love and support for Hermes, the stylist admitted that she was still reeling from the shock.
Toyin, however, crowned Hermes as her winner, saying, “win or lose, you are a winner.”
She said, “Big Brother ti rip wa o. They pulled a big joke on us, I still can’t believe it. Still heartbroken, I looked around and I saw many worthy candidates but you still stood out. @hermesiyele win or lose, you are a winner. Thank God to Big Brother for giving you this platform to share your amazing soul with us. Now it’s time for you to shine; it’s not about who won atimes, You are A STAR, and your time starts now.”
