Afa Igbo Efuna Worldwide has congratulated the Founder and Founding National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, Ralph Okey Nwosu, on his 67th birthday, describing him as a statesman whose contributions to Nigeria’s democracy and nation-building have left an enduring impact.
In a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary General, Mazi Nzubechi Maduagwu, the socio-cultural and political advocacy group praised Nwosu’s role in promoting democratic values, good governance, political inclusion, and national unity.
The group noted that through his vision and leadership, Nwosu played a pivotal role in building the ADC into a prominent political platform that has provided millions of Nigerians with an alternative voice in the country’s democratic process.
Afa Igbo Efuna described the former ADC national chairman as an exemplary son of Igboland whose life has been defined by integrity, courage, diligence, and service to humanity.
According to the organisation, Nwosu’s commitment to justice, equity, and democratic ideals continues to inspire younger generations and strengthen confidence in participatory governance.
“As he celebrates 67 remarkable years of life, service and accomplishment, we salute his enduring contributions to Nigeria’s political evolution and his unwavering dedication to the cause of a better, fairer and more prosperous nation,” the statement read.
The group also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, good health, and strength for the elder statesman, expressing hope that he would continue to contribute to the development of Nigeria and the advancement of Ndi Igbo.
Afa Igbo Efuna further described Nwosu’s political journey as one marked by consistency and commitment to democratic principles, adding that his legacy transcends partisan politics and reflects a broader dedication to national development.
The organisation concluded by wishing him many more years of impactful service to God, humanity, Ndi Igbo, and Nigeria.
