Minister of Transport and Presidential hopeful, Rotimi Amaechi has dismissed the presidential bid of his erstwhile friend turn political foes, Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers state.
Amaechi, who was in Calabar to consult Cross River state governor, Gov Ben Ayade and other party faithful in continuation of his presidential bid, declined comment on Wike’s ambition
Amaechi, a former Rivers State governor, is said to have had a falling out with Wike in the build up to 2015 general elections.

After his meeting, newsmen had asked Amaechi, “Sir, Are you not afraid that your brother and friend, Gov Nyesom Wike from the same Rivers State is also in the presidential race?”
He dismissing the query with a sweep of his hand before hissing.
He declined to answer any more questions from the media.
