BREAKING: Bandits kidnap over 30 commuters on Abuja- Kaduna express way

Terrorists shot many and kidnapped over 30 commuters on the Abuja-Kaduna highway in the Katari area of Kaduna State, Northwest Nigeria.

The attack which took place around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, affected many vehicles, a video obtained by HumAngle revealed.

Many commuters with gunshot wounds, including children, were seen by the side of the road while many cars remained parked. Their attackers appeared to have abandoned those they had injured.

An eyewitness, Muhammad Ibrahim, said a Zamfara State Transport Authority 18 seater bus, one Peugeot 406, two Toyota Corolla, a Golf, and several other vehicles were attacked by the terrorists.

Some passengers on the route said security forces arrived after the kidnappers had left but there was no evidence that the terrorists have been apprehended or that any persons were rescued.

On March 28, 2022, an Abuja-Kaduna bound train was attacked by terrorists who blasted the rail line, killed some passengers and abducted many who still remain in captivity at the time this report was filed.
