National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday met with Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State.
TheLeadng reports that Umahi alongside his deputy were Wednesday sacked by a Federal High Court in Abuja for defecting from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to APC.
Umahi has however appealed the judgement.
It was gathered that the governor’s brief meeting Tinubu which took place in Abuja might not be unconnected with the court judgement as well as the crisis rocking APC.
Both Tinubu and Umahi have expressed serious interest for the 2023 presidential ticket of the ruling APC.
