President Muhammadu Buhari is meeting with the governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, on Tuesday, a few days after the governor escaped assassination.
The agenda of the meeting is yet to be disclosed, however, reports gathered linked that the visit might be connected with the recent attack on the governor.
Recall that Mr Ortom had accused the Fulani herders of plotting to kill him during an attack on him while on a visit to his farm on Saturday.
Three persons have been arrested by the police in connection with the assassination attempt on Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.
Ortom’s Security Adviser, Col Paul Hemba (rtd) disclosed that the three persons arrested were Jukun fishermen.
