She shared a photo of herself in her school uniform, reflecting on the moment she first wore it and the compliments she received from her peers.

Determined to pursue her passion for becoming a professional chef, Chef Dammy extended her thanks to Governor Oyebanji and his wife, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, for their steadfast support.

She captioned the post: “My first time in school Uniform as a Proper Pro. Chef in the making. I ran back into the hostel to go and blush. Being my first time in the school uniform, so when I stepped out of the hostel “I started hearing Chef Dammy you’re finally wearing the uniform, so fine!!” so I ran back inside, took selfies and started blushing again.

“A big thank you to the @ofadaboy and the CEO @hbshotelschool_lagos for making this a reality.( I could remember the day I called the CEO ‘Principal…). A big thank you to my darling Lawyer, she’s just too amazing.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to His Excellency, Governor @biodunaoyebanji , and Her Excellency, Dr. @yemiboyebanji , for their unwavering support thus far.

“A big shoutout to everyone who made my week fun, my school mother @ekiskitchen_foods and everyone at HBS. God bless HBS. God bless Ekiti
God bless Lagos. And God bless Nigeria”.

Chef Dammy, a native of Ekiti State, embarked on a 120-hour cookathon in her hometown of Ilupeju, Ekiti, starting on June 9, 2023.

Over the course of four days, Chef Dammy prepared more than 100 dishes, capturing the attention of Nigerians across the country and sparking mixed reactions on social media.

While some questioned her ability to manage the financial demands and complete the challenge, others praised her resilience and determination.

Chef Dammy’s culinary feat followed the impressive 93-hour, 11-minute cook-off by Hilda Baci, which set a new record, surpassing the previous one held by Indian chef Lata Tondon.
