According to Sky Sports, Manchester United has agreed on a deal with Juventus to sign Adrien Rabiot.

However, the deal is being held up, as personal terms have not been reached with Rabiot’s agent and mother Veronique.

The player joined Juventus as a free agent in 2019 and is in the final year of his contract.

Juventus is ready to let Rabiot leave this summer and have agreed to a £15m fee for the midfielder.

United’s primary midfield transfer target this summer has been Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong, but they have been keeping alternative options “warm” after being frustrated in their pursuit of the midfielder.

Rabiot had a brief spell in the Manchester City academy before turning professional at Paris Saint-Germain in his homeland a decade ago.
