President Muhammadu Buhari said the All Progressives Congress (APC) would sustain the post-primaries healing process ahead of the 2023 elections.

Buhari gave the assurance on Tuesday in Abuja at a meeting with APC Senators, NAN reports.

He noted that complaints received are before the National Working Committee (NWC) and would be addressed.

“I shall continue to address the ensuing challenges and grievances through the party machinery while paying keen attention to the outcomes.”

Buhari reminded the lawmakers of the “primacy of justice in all our actions”, adding that denied justice is usually unpleasant.

The leadership of the party is currently addressing the outcomes as part of the way forward”, he said.

The President encouraged all the party functionaries to adhere to the truth and to be fair to all parties in any dispute.

Senator Orji Kalu said at least 22 senators and members of the party were unhappy with the outcome of the primaries in their states.

The Senate Chief Whip added that those affected felt disenfranchised by the process.
