The English Premier League returns this weekend following midweek European engagement for some of the top-flight clubs.
The Premier League will be going on break in the coming weeks for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this month.
Matches spread across England to be played between Saturday and Sunday this weekend include:

Wolves v Brighton
Manchester City v Fulham
Leeds United v Bournemouth
Everton v Leicester City
Aston Villa v Manchester United
Southampton v Newcastle United
West Ham United v Crystal Palace
Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool
Chelsea v Arsenal.
Manchester City will host Fulham at Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening, while Everton will clash with Leicester City at Goodison Park.
Tottenham Hotspur will take on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Sunday, while Aston Villa will face Manchester United at Villa Park.
These three matches could produce shock results this weekend.
Aston Villa vs Man United.
Manchester United will hope to continue in their winning run when they meet Aston Villa today. Since after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea, Man United have gone on to win their last three games against Sheriff, West Ham and Real Sociedad while Aston Villa have been victorious in just one of their last four matches, being their 4-0 win over Brentford. Manchester City vs Fulham: On papers, this match would not be added to this category but the Premier League has witnessed unexpected results this season, for instance, Brighton’s 4-1 win over Chelsea last weekend. Fulham’s last game was their 0-0 draw against Everton. Before then, it was a 3-0 win over Aston Villa and a 3-2 win over Leeds United.
Southampton vs Newcastle: Newcastle have been in flying form this season. The Magpies are sitting fourth in the Premier League table, having drawn just one of their last six matches. But the Saints could prove a hard nut to crack for the big spenders.
