Nestlé Nigeria has rewarded 16 of its top-performing distributor partners with brand new distribution trucks in recognition of their outstanding business performance and sustained growth, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening its nationwide distribution network.
The recognition programme celebrated distributors who recorded consecutive volume growth in both 2024 and 2025 while making significant contributions to national sales, despite a challenging operating environment marked by inflation, foreign exchange volatility and changing consumer spending patterns.
The company said the awards reflect the resilience, agility and long-term commitment of the distributors, whose businesses have helped ensure the continued availability of Nestlé products across Nigeria.

As part of the recognition, each of the 16 distributors received a new distribution truck to strengthen their delivery capacity, expand market reach and improve operational efficiency.
Nestlé Nigeria said the investment forms part of its broader strategy to support distributor growth through improved distribution infrastructure, inventory management tools, operational support and other initiatives designed to build a stronger value chain.
The company currently works with more than 200 distributor partners, whose businesses collectively serve over 200,000 retailers nationwide, making Nestlé products accessible to millions of consumers every day.
Beyond product distribution, the network supports thousands of Nigerian entrepreneurs and businesses across the retail value chain, sustains economic activity in communities and contributes to job creation and economic growth.
Speaking at the recognition ceremony, Nestlé Nigeria Commercial Manager, Boladale Odunlami, said the company’s success is closely tied to the success of its distributors.
“At Nestlé Nigeria, we believe our success is closely linked to the success of our partners. Our distributors play a critical role in ensuring that consumers across the country can access the products they know and trust every day.
“That is why we continue to invest in their growth and capabilities, not only to strengthen our business, but also to create shared value for the entrepreneurs and businesses that form an essential part of Nigeria’s retail economy.
“Today’s recognition celebrates distributor partners whose sustained performance, including consecutive growth over the past two years, reflects the resilience, consistency and long-term commitment that define strong partnerships. It also reflects our own long-term commitment to growing together while building a stronger and more resilient value chain,” she said.
In addition to the overall awards, two of the 16 distributors received special recognition for exceptional business recovery in 2025 after successfully returning to growth despite difficult market conditions.
Responding on behalf of the award recipients, Chairman of SEDDT Nigeria Limited, Alhaja M.D. Jolaosho, described the recognition as a motivation to continue investing in the business and delivering better service.

“Running a distribution business isn’t easy, and sustaining growth year after year takes the commitment of our entire team. We’re honoured to be recognised by Nestlé for that effort.
“This recognition motivates us to keep investing in our business, serving our customers even better and continuing the strong partnership we’ve built over the years,” she said.
Nestlé Nigeria said it will continue investing across its value chain, from suppliers and distributors to retailers, as part of efforts to strengthen Nigerian businesses, improve access to quality food and beverages, and create shared value for communities across the country.
