2023: Buhari in close door meeting with Tinubu at Aso Villa

President Muhammadu Buhari met with former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to newsmen, Mr. Sunday Aghaeze, one of the President’s Personal Photographers, corroborated this in graphic reports on Tuesday night in Abuja.

The agenda of the meeting between the president and the national head of the All Progressives Congress (APC) could not be determined at the time of reporting this report.

Tinubu chose the ruling APC presidential nomination and declaration of interest forms on Friday at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

The forms for APC national leader, Atiku Abubakar, were chosen by James Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency.

Folake was accompanied by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, and hundreds of members of the Tinubu Support Groups (TSG) to the party’s secretariat.

Reports have it that Tinubu had recently returned from Saudi Arabia, where he performed the lesser hajj alongside some of his political associates and family members.
